In today's economy huses aren't selling as quickly as everyone would like. So its very important that sellers improve their chances by attending to all the details to make the house more marketable. Here are a few tips.
1. Ensure that the house is painted in neutral colours - inside and out.
2. Less is more - show off the house, declutter, pack and make your home into a show piece.
3. Clean, clean and then scrub a little bit more. Everything must sparkle. 
4. When the potential buyers enter your home, a nice fresh smell - not cooking of fish, broccoli, cabbage or strong spices.
5. Take care of all the minor repairs, replace old mailboxes, etc.
6. Make your house inviting - make it say buy me - I'm the best on the block.
