Plan to be in Summit County August 20th and 21st and be a part of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge in Breckenridge.
The courses have been announced and as one of the few towns in race history to host both a finish to one stage and start to another the USA Pro Cycling Challenge in Breckenridge will thrill spectators…twice! First as they cheer the riders on Stage Two from Aspen as they descend Hoosier Pass, head north on Main Street then UP the 15% grade of Moonstone Road on the east side of town. They’ll finish the day with a fast ride down Boreas Pass Road.
Awake early on August 21st and claim a spot along that day’s route as the USA Pro Cycling Challenge in Breckenridge begins on Main Street, heads north on Highway 9, then over Swan Mountain Road in what is sure to be just as exciting as the inaugural race when spectators ran alongside riders, cheering them on, reminiscent of the famous hill climbs of the Tour de France. The race continues on, winding through Dillon and Silverthorne then north through Kremmling, over Rabbit Ears Pass and ending in Steamboat Springs.
The USA Pro Cycling Challenge in Breckenridge will without a doubt be one of the highlights of 2013 in this quaint mountain town. Plan to join us! Please stop in and visit me at our Breckenridge Associates office right on Main Street before, during or after the events.
