Maui, Hawaii Real Estate May 2013 Statistics

May's Sales Volume – May’s Residential sales rose to a six-year high of 105 homes sold, while Condo Sales remained steady at a strong 138 units sold. Land sales came in at 18 lots sold.

May's Median SALES prices –The Residential home median price rose to 540,000, while the Condo median price increased to $381,500. Land median price declined to $305,000.

Days on Market for Residential homes = 148, Condos = 172 DOM, Land = 219 DOM. (General DOM Note: this is the average DOM for the properties that SOLD. If predominantly OLD inventory sells, it will move this indicator upward, and vice versa. RAM's Days on Market are calculated from List Date to Closing Date [not contract date], including approximately 60 days of escrow time.)
