THEY SAY IT'S A DRY HEAT!

Well, at least at this time of year, they’re right. Right now it’s 1040 here in sunny Tucson.

The humidity is…2%

The dew point is…0

Can’t get much dryer than that.

Bright sun, no clouds. Admittedly it feels a smidge like the inside of an oven, not that I’ve ever been inside an oven. Except my car in the summer.

But, no floods, no torrential rains, no snow, no sleet, no iced windshields, no tornados and no hurricanes.

Yep, I’ll take our heat!

Jon, I've been through Arizona and the southwest and no question about it...it's beautiful and can be very hot.  Being from the mid-west and northern Illinois...I gotta tell you that I'm a cold weather kind of guy...love the snow...not so much the tornadoes.

Jon, I think 90 something is hot and we have little to no humidity either.   Can't imagine living with the 100's all summer.

I love hot weather as I am from India. I do not like winter.

There is something to that - when I visit my daughter in the Denver area, 90 plus is tolerable - 90 plus here feels worse - and  it's miserable in humid climates.

I don't care how dry it is, that is hot but I can see where it has its advantages.

Tammie, sometimes it can get a little hot here, although nowhere nearly as hot as up the road in Phoenix. But in the winter, well, most years, like last year, we didn't have winter!

I've lived in Arizona...outside of Phoenix. I know about that heat. I'm not a big fan of it. I'm glad you like it, though. That's important since you do live there.

Jon, I'm with you.  I think right now there may be a few people who would welcome a bit of heat dry or otherwise.

I grew up in the midwest. I'll take the dry heat over the humidity. BTW...we have a dry cold in my area. It really is better.
