Local Goodwill To Open Store In La Jolla, California.

Good news for bargain hunters and merchandise donors in La Jolla: Goodwill plans to open a thrift store just off Torrey Pines Road around June 27, 2013. The new store is just under 1,600 square feet and will feature primarily clothing and accessories with a smaller than average housewares section. The La Jolla site is surrounded by home furnishing and interior design stores such Ark Antiques and Roche Bobois. The drive-through donation center behind the store began operation in early June 2013 to collect clean reusable clothing and gently used collectibles, jewelry and household items that will fill the new store.

People donate and shop where it's most convenient. prior to this store opening people would have to go out of their way up to the University City bookstore. Grand Opening is schedule for June 27, 2013.
