Should Your Home Inspector And REALTORS Be Drinking Wine At Your Home Inspection?

By
Real Estate Agent with Coco, Early & Associates

So, this morning I receive a call from a "First Time Buyer" who I had given a list of home inspectors to contact for their upcoming home inspection.  The buyers are concerned by the first post on one of the home inspectors FaceBook page.  "Sometimes the best idea anyone's had all day is to bring wine to the home inspection" which an agent tagged the home inspector along with another agent in this post.  Some of the comments made me wonder just how professional any of the parties involved are?

How can I recommend you to clients.  With all the legal and professional ramification that this post puts out there for both the REALTORS and the Home Inspector I am left to wonder why would any one do business with any of the parties involved.  People social media is a powerful tool...it can go good or bad...

Not exactly a habit that recommends a home inspector.

If I read that about any home inspector, they'd surely be OFF my list.

Many folks just don't seem to get that whatever pictures they place and whatever they write and place online is there for everyone to see and judge forever.
