Amarillo TX 4th of July Events

Amarillo TX will have wonderful 4th of July festivities for everyone to enjoy. However, as the big day approaches, there is a rush to remind everyone that doing your own fireworks within city limits will get you a violation fine of $2,000 per occurrence. The Amarillo Police Department and the Amarillo Fire Department are planning to have a solid approach to this year’s Independence Day Celebrations while reminding everyone that the possession, sale and use of fireworks in the city are against the law.

There will be extra firemen and policemen on duty for Independence Day to help monitor the evening’s events. Novelty items like noisemakers and poppers are not considered fireworks so there is no need for concern with those items.

To enjoy all the events that Amarillo has to offer on Independence Day, there will be public displays of large fireworks. You can catch some of the biggest fireworks displays in the Texas Panhandle area right here in Amarillo, TX.
