The City of Surprise will be celebrating July 4th in high style. Come celebrate the 31st Annual Fourth of July Celebration from 4:30 until 8:30 at the Surprise Recreation Campus located at 15850 N Bullard Avenue Surprise AZ.
The event is free for all family, friends and neighbors. Bring a can of food for the local food bank donation to help those in need. See the Minor League Baseball game at 5:30 with the Kansas City Royals taking on the Cleveland Indians -these seats are limited, so get there at 4:30 when the gates open or pick up your tickets early at the Community and Recreation Services Office. Enjoy concession stands with food and beverages. The highlight of the night will be the fireworks set to patriotic music to celebrate our freedom. So make your plans and gather up your family to enjoy this night together. Thank you to Sands Chevrolet for their sponsorship.
After the fireworks, make your way through the crowds and stop in at one of the local eateries for a late night snack. Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers, Rita’s Italian Ice, Sonic Drive-In, Culver’s and Cold Stone Creamery are all available not far from the Surprise Stadium. Come on over and join our small town feel in the big city on July 4th.
