Independence Day in Small Town USA A.K.A Fountain Hills, AZ

Fountain Hills used to have an amazing fireworks display every year. I always looked forward to gathering around the Fountain Park every 4th of July with family and friends to watch the show and so did thousands of other folks. One year the shows just stopped. I was pretty disappointed and I've never really been sure about what happened. Chances are it was a budget issue with the economy beginning it's downward slide at the time. The great news is the Fort McDowell Casino and Resort just outside of Fountain Hills has picked up where the town of Fountain Hills left off! Every year on the 3rd of July they do an amazing show that can been seen for miles and it really is worth seeing. We are still one of the smallest town's in all of Metro Phoenix to be able to pull off such a big celebration. The fireworks show is just one of the many reasons people are attracted to Fountain Hills, AZ. The lifestyle is upscale, clean, and exclusive but much more affordable than cities like Scottsdale. The homes in Fountain Hills range from affordable 1 bedroom condos to exclusive gated luxury hilltop mansions.

The unique features of Fountain Hills are what make it attractive. I don't know of anywhere else in the Phoenix area you can actually afford to live next to luxury homes and still enjoy the same lifestyle! For that reason Fountain Hills, AZ has a big draw for families, snowbirds, retirees, and even real estate investors. The community is almost entirely custom built, with just a few "tract" communities to speak of making the home buying experience exciting and never boring. Every home I step into is different and offers features and benefits that the last home didn't. Fountain Hills, AZ has been impacted by rising home values as has the rest of the state. While still affordable for most part there may be a day when buying in Fountain Hills may be much harder for first time home buyer and or retiree on a tight budget. As salesy as it sounds now is the time to get into a great community like Fountain Hills before the market values shift even higher. There's still deals out there you just have to know what you're looking at when they come up for sale (Compare Fountain Hills, AZ home prices).

Whatever you do this 4th of July be safe and try to remember why we're celebrating the occasion. I think it's easy to forget with all of the cook outs and pool time we get to enjoy! Have a happy Independence Day!
