Connecticut's First Heat Wave for 2013!

The start of Summer was just last Friday and we are already in the middle of our first heat wave in Beacon Falls, CT! We are sure glad to say goodbye to the cold weather but we would like to remind everyone to take precautions in extreme heat. Every year loved ones are lost to this type of weather and by taking preventative steps heat related emergencies can certainly be avoided.

Those who are at most risk for heat related injuries are the young and old, mentally or physically ill people, and those who take part in strenuous activity outside. If you are taking part in outdoor activities this week be sure to stay hydrated! Most public buildings have  air conditioning so if your home does not have AC you might want to take a trip to the library or a local museum during the hottest parts of the day.

At Pond Spring Village in Beacon Falls, CT all our new duplex style homes come with Central Air which is sure to keep you cool no matter what the thermometer outside reads! So if you are thinking of becoming a member of one of the best 55 and over active adult communities in CT schedule and appointment with Linda Mayfield or Ken Shove today. As always we welcome you to stop by one of our open houses held every Saturday and Sunday from 1 pm – 3pm.
