I'm starting to crave their perfectly-spiced food just thinking about it! I've been there twice and had trouble each time choosing an entre, even though I don't eat meat so am somewhat limited. I chose Malai Kofta - described in the menu as, "Minced vegetable mixed with spices in form of cheese balls and cooked with cream, nuts and raisins." The description can't do it justice, though.
I know there's a certain 'other' restaurant people usually think of going to when they want Middle Eastern food, but I'm telling you - this one is better!
One thing I really like is that any dish can be ordered mild, medium or hot, to keep everyone in the party happy. And my husband - who is rarely satisfied with food billed as 'hot' - was very happy with his.
I also appreciate the ambiance. Cloths on the table and cloth napkins, yet not too fancy to stop in on a 'errand-running Saturday' without the need to go home and change.
The staff and owners are all very friendly, and obviously proud when a customer tells them how much they enjoy their food.
They have a buffet for lunch and dinner hours (call to check times). I haven't tried that yet, but I should since I always wish I could sample more delicious offerings. And they are now serving beers and wines.
And all this without the traffic hassle and cost of parking in Denver.
And they deliver within five miles of the restaurant! When Bibek told me that, I said, "Oh no - that's terrible!" Then I had some explaining to do!
