Hi Brian,

What you are putting out as posts to your blog right now  (I just skimmed through your articles) are not contributing to the "conversation", they look like parts of legal documents and are not interesting.

I would read more blogs for awhile to get a better idea of what a good blog is.  Good blogs post about stories that happen to the blogger (professional and sometimes personal stories) who then shares them as a way to educate or entertain the reader, posts are also opinions, educational and informational for the bloggers potential clients.  There are many, many different ways to blog, and the more effective are about sharing and are conversational in tone.

You might want to join up with the Newbies group and I would suggest the Project Blogger (which ended last July, but has lots about blogging) group too.  Join as many groups as seem interesting to you and read lots of posts to get a better idea of what makes a good blog.

I would be happy to talk with you too!

Hi Brian,

Write what makes topics that inspire you and do not listen to anyone else.

I do about 40% interesting material to help folks understand, 40% putting a personal twist and 20% fluff showing my personal side.  Then look at your stats and see what is being read.

Hi Brian,
I think you have to decide why you are here. To build your business?  To make friends and contact?  To rack up points?
If you are here to build your business, do article that will be of interest and educate people about your area (that's called localism).

It seems to me that anything goes here.  Some people tell personal stories many not even business related, some rant about things they find unfair, some post business information appropraite for clients, and others appeal to peers.  Most people seem to be mixing it up with different types of entries. Write what you want to write about.  That's seems to be what we are all doing.
