I have many fond memories of my Grandparent’s home while I was growing up. All of my aunts, uncles and cousins lived in the small town in Southeastern Arizona and it was so much fun getting to see everyone at the family events while we visited. Many of my childhood memories were made sitting at the dining room table and in front of the fireplace listening to everyone talk. Just as many memories were made playing in the yard and work yard with the cousins playing King of the Mountain on the gravel and sand piles. (My grandparents founded a rock and sand company in the small town and it has been passed on in the family still today after 60 plus years.) As life would have it, my grandparents and some of my extended family have now passed on. But I have been given a gift of a lifetime by purchasing my grandparent’s home and rehabbing it. My grandfather began building this home in 1935 and added onto it each time there was another child born to he and my grandmother. This labor of love that we are working on has allowed us to relive many memories of our visits and brought my family many new memories of the home that Grandpa built.
Having a place to call home means a different many things to each person. It’s the place where your children grew up running down the hallway, planting a garden in the yard with grandparents, having family dinners on Sunday, your first slumber party or a wedding in the back yard. Making memories is such an important part of home ownership.
As a real estate agent, my job is to get you through the home buying process; your job is to create a lifetime of memories in your home.
