Real Estate Backlinks For Better Search Engine Rankings

Your real estate website needs two things in order to get ranked well on Google, Yahoo, Bing and other search engines - CONTENT and LINKING. The more quality content you have, the better you will rank. But no matter how good or plentiful your content, your ranking in all search engines will not be nearly as good if you do not have enough quality backlinks. Google in particular gives heavy preference to sites that are well-linked by other sites.

But it takes more than a multitude of links. The quality of backlinks is critical, and depends primarily on two things, as well - relevancy and Page Rank. As the owner of a real estate related website, you would get the most punch from backlinks provided by other real estate related sites. And, of course, those sites need to have Page Rank. Just one PR 3 link from a RELEVANT website will give your website more boost than hundreds of non-relevant links on pages of lesser, or even no page rank, such as link farms and directories.

PR 1 & 2 is OK for some links, but the power does not begin until you get links from relevant sites that are at least PR 3. And that is not very easy to do - until now.

Having a number of real estate websites and pages, I found it nearly impossible to get links on real estate related sites that had good Page Rank. It became necessary to create a number of web properties, get them built up over time to at least a PR 3, from which I could then link to my sites. I now have hundreds of pages that rank in the top 3 positions on Google's Page One for relevant search terms. And it dawned on me that other real estate folks - brokers, appraisers, investors etc need the same kind of linking, and I could use those same properties to help them (you?) to achieve better rankings.
