A Bird Tea Party

By
Real Estate Agent with Fathom Realty

I was eating lunch today when I heard a racket outside.  It sounded like a bunch of people gathered around yakking.  My back yard is kind of private (on the 5th tee of the golf course) so I looked to see what was going on.  Apparently I was in the middle of a mass migration of birds.  Most were some type of black bird but there were hundreds of robins.  My local birds were there as well and weren't going to be run off.  The blue bird wasn't intimidated by anyone.  What a sight.

Seven here. Robins plus my Blue Jay

 Redwing Blackbird

 Lots of Blackbirds.

What wonderful photos! Birds always remind me of my daughter who seems to attract them somehow into her life. (She seems to understand their language.) Here is one favorite BIRD photo of her. I love that you saw this and know the names of the birds. What a fantastic tea party! Thanks for this inspiring post!

She needs to be careful or those critters just might take her away to the land of OZ.

The birds are still coming by but I didn't take more pictures.  Not as many robins.  They must be on their way to wherever they were going.

We love our birds too! Right now it is Gold Finches, Red Birds, and a couple of Blues.  They really brighten up our day but man do they eat a lot!
