Food for thought Friday...

We all know that we all get busy  and some of us even stay busy all the time. Everyone's situation is different, if you're like me and try to live an active lifestyle and it doesn't cost you anything but time. Some people complain about where they live but never do anything about it. I'm the go-getter type, so if I ever have any complaints, or even on the opposite side of the coin and I have a suggestion I bring it up at the monthly Logan Gate Village H.O.A.meeting.

Personally, I don't think that one day a month to give to my community is asking allot. Plus, the more heads we can put together, the more ideas we can up with to clean up and improve where we live as a community for the current and future kids and grand kids for years to come. It's true when they say that kids are the future so why not give them not only something they can share for a long time to come but also a life lesson about what giving back means.

I know I steered a little but children do deserve to best we can give them. Not only with objects but more importantly about being a good person. Now it goes without saying that we ALL as parents, want a better community for our kids to live in, but it's not just going to happen on it's own. We as members of the community should come together and and chip in. They say "Good things come to those who wait" but I disagree, I think " Good things come to those who work hard for it and make the effort TO MAKE THINGS HAPPEN!

Kenrick- I agree, one day a month is not to much to ask to give to your community.  Welcome to ActiveRain.
