I just came from an appointment where the real estate agent (the buyer's agent) recommended me to her client. Cool. She said that it's a small world as another agent had recommended me. That agent said I know a great hardwood person, and it's a girl. My friend said, "That's funny. I know someone great, too, and she's also a girl. Is it The Flooring Girl?" And, of course it was. Really cool.
But, it didn't stop there. The listing agent was there. I had never met her, but she asked for my card and then asked if I was the one working at a certain address. And, as luck would have it, we are, and it's her client. I had met her husband at the appointment. Small world.
And, I have to say that getting appointments w/ customers before they close (while they are accompanied by their agent) is a huge bonus for me. I still have many more real estate agents to meet, but I'm constantly amazed at what a small world this is.
