If you are a fan of Dan Brown and plan on reading his newest * INFERNO * you won't be able to get Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon out of your head when you read of his LATEST what-am-I-doing-here tale.
I stopped reading Clive Cussler books because Dirk kept getting in wet, in TIGHT places with NO AIR * well Robert is TRAVELING and GETTING WET with a BEAUTIFUL WOMAN....and it is the AIR that may kill him.
The DaVinci Code took us from Paris to London and back to Paris: Angles & Deamons took us from Switzerland to Rome * INFERNO takes us from Rome to Vince and then............. I won't spoil it for you; however, I'd love to be Brown's researcher and travel to these beautiful European places, have his All-Access pass to docents and get the history of the churches, museums and artwork.
The water and tight places theme is from Robert's early childhood fall into a deep well and his having to scream through the night to be rescued....he does not like tight/dark places....so his having to go into small, dark places to determine why he has a bullet wound in his head is only the beginning.
Great "read" for the beach or power-is-out at home......I'm hoping there is a Tom Hanks' movie in the works for this one!
