The south side section of Rockville Centre is boarded on the south by Mill River and on the north by Merrick Road. On the east side is Long Beach Road and on the west is South Village Avenue.
WHAT'S THE NEIGHBORHOOD LIKE?
The homes in the South Side Area of Rockville Centre are very eclectic. They are mostly Victorians, Colonials, Cape Cods and Ranches. Most of the homes were built between the late 1800's and 1950. The area is in the Incorporated Village and thus have Village electric, police, sanitation and water. The children of the South Side Area attend either the Rockville Centre School District or the Oceanside School District.
