The lockbox goes on the door knob...and the door knob goes where?

 

OK... How many of you answered "On the ground"?  I can't imagine that many of my fellow Active Rainer's offering that reply/suggestion- but if you happen to be one who's inclined to believe that a lockbox's proper place is on the ground...

Congratulations!  You're in fine company with the listing agent whose property I showed the other day.  It's great that their folks (apparently) replaced the door knob and deadbolt lock at this property- yet I don't quite share their belief that simply leaving this lockbox attached to the old door knob and leaving said door knob on the ground is anything close to prudent.

Can't help but call this one whacked!

Dennis, now that is funny. I just wonder what the listing agent would do if someone decided to take the lockbox??? that is just crazy.

Dennis, what part of WHACKED is that?  OMG.  Now I have seen everything.  My pet peeve are the agents who place the lockbox on a waterpipe, usually behind rose bushes.  Whats wrong with the front door.  I get that they feel it makes the house look less vulnerable, because someone might think the house is vacant.  Well, let me say this, most people already know that because of the brown yard and newspapers all over the place.
