Today I was treated to a bit of bright color. Around here lately it has been rather hot or raining, so this morning before the heat and rain took over I found this bright redish orange color in my garden.
Not sure it would look good tomorrow therefore I made the decision to capture it with my camera.

Is that a day lilly. We have something similar near the house, but it isn't blooming yet. The deer don't seem to care for mine, but it is pretty close to the house, so maybe that's why they don't bother it. Nice picture.
That's an exceptionally vibrant bloom. I really love colors that pop off the page and say LOOK!!

Debbie the only reason this was able to bloom I spray it with liquid fence;, costing me a fortune but that's the price I pay for flowers here in deer country:)
