The City of Bowie will host a 4th of July Celebration partnering with the Bowie Baysox. The 4th of July event will be held at the Prince Georges Stadium, in Bowie MD. There will be a concert with the Fabulous Hubcaps(Classic Rock and Roll Band)! There will be a flag ceremony and singing of the National Anthem.
Also there will be a fireworks display starting at 9:15pm. Make sure you bring along your blankets and the kiddies for the special display of fireworks. For those interested in an early barbecue, Allen Pond Park will be open and available for picnics on a first come first serve basis.
There are lots of events on this special Independence day so make sure to take part in the festivities that interest you.
