Sold In Solera Oak Valley Greens, June 2013
DURING THE MONTH OF June, 2013 | REAL ESTATE NEWS By Diana Mangan
According to DQ News, Southern California home sales were at a seven-year high last month thanks to a stronger economy, low mortgage rates and the widening perception that a home is a good investment. Prices continued to regain lost territory as buyers competed for a small supply of homes. “We’re deep into uncharted territory: Amazingly low mortgage rates, a razor-thin inventory of homes for sale, and the release of years’ worth of pent-up demand. Plus there’s a seemingly endless stream of investors and non-investors who pay cash and thereby avoid the loan-qualification process. How this all plays out is educated guesswork at this point. Understandably, speculation continues over whether another housing bubble is forming,” said John Walsh, DataQuick president. “History suggests that’s a tough call early on. What seems obvious is that if prices keep rising fast they’ll cause many more people to list their homes for sale, and that increase in supply should at least slow the rate of price appreciation,” he said.
There are three fantastic, open floor plans offered at Solera Oak Valley Greens. Home choices vary from the 1,392 sq-ft Solera Princess plan, to the 1,687 sq-ft Solera Trillion plan, or the 2,137 sq-ft Solera Emerald plan, depending on your needs. All of Solera's homes feature 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a den, a nicely sized great room and a covered patio, perfect for Southern California's fabulous indoor/outdoor living!
Prices of Solera homes are continuing to go up, which is great news for Solera homeowners! I just printed a report of Solera home sales since January 1 of this year and was pleased to see an Emerald that recently sold for $270,000; a Trillion that sold for $220,000; and a Princess that sold for $179,000! These figures are not average prices, but the highest prices at the time I wrote this article.
