World War Z

By
Real Estate Agent with Shahar Management

I made it out to the movies this weekend and went to see the new movie World War Z.  I had wanted to see the new Sandra Bullock movie but it wasn't playing near me so we headed to the movies right up the street last minute and this is what we were able to get in to. (Quite a big difference I found out!)

I had no idea what this movie was about so when it started I realized right away it was not really a movie for little kids.  If you have little ones (or big ones too) with nightmare issues this is NOT the movie for them!

Within five minutes of the movie starting it is action action action!  My biggest surprise was that this was a zombie movie.  I would never have expected to see Brad Pitt in a zombie movie.  I am not a "zombie" movie goer but I thought the movie was pretty good.  It definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat and there is one part of the movie that made everyone in the theater scream because of something that was totally unexpected.

So if you like a good action movie where everyone is chased by zombies this is the movie for you!

Debra,  I have not been to a movie in years!  I used to go once a week ... it was what I did to take time to relax and shut down for a couple of hours. The older I get the less I am attracted to movies that are just really out there. I'm glad you got out and enjoyed some downtime even if you did not see what you set out to see.

This was a great movie. I also saw it when it first came out. You are so right...this is not a movie for little kids with nightmare issues. Overall it was a good movie and very different from the normal Brad Pitt movies.

Debra,

Glad you took the time to go out to a movie, even if it wasn't your first choice. It definitely sounds like it contains alot of action. We should all take a little time for ourselves and do something we enjoy.

Good afternoon Deb -

Wow sounds like a good movie.  Now to find / make time to go.  It's been forever since Debbie and I went to the movies we say we're going to go then something always pops up that takes priority.  Our grand-kids on the other hand seem to live at the movies.

Debra, due to the excesses and left-liberal influence in Hollywood, not to mention the continually increasing ticket prices at theaters, I have elected to vote with my wallet by not subscribing to the rubbish these goons publish as art and entertainment. Good blog.

Debra, thanks for the heads up with this movie.  I had the new Heat movie on my calendar for this weekend, but real estate got in the way.  Hopefully will see it in the next few days.
