Hearts and prayers go out to Firemen and their families and extended families in Arizona.
As Mohave County AZ prepares to have a memorial for our largest loss of Firemen's lives in the states history, yesterday we very sadly broke that record. The fire raging outside of Prescott took 19 souls yesterday and devastated MANY families! This tops our record set 40 years ago 7/5 when a tragic accident took 11 souls.
19 Firemen from the Prescott elite team "Granite Mountain Hotshort" tragically lost their lives in the Darnell fire yesterday and when the flames fueled by chaotic winds swept around and caught the team of 20 by surprise and only 1 soul escaped.
This is the single most devastating loss of life for American firemen second only to 9/11/01.

Please join us July 5th as we remember the 11 Firemen and 1 plant manager who's lives were lost 40 years ago in the Droxol Gas explosion. The ceremony will no doubt pay tribute to the 19 souls lost yesterday in the Darnell Fire. God Bless their families and may their souls rest in peace!
The activity will be at Fireman's Park at Detroit Street and Fairgrounds Blvd. at 6pm on Friday 7/5. This will be a very good time to gather and extend support to those who run TO the emergency while we run away!
