As frequent travelers, where would be the best place in the US to live? And the answer we keep coming back to is Miami.
Miami? Yes, Miami. Granted. Here are a few reasons why Miami is a great place to move:
The heat. Yes, the summers in Miami are insanely hot. I love the feeling of a sultry humid summer night in a city that holds its secrets.
The food. Cuban, Caribbean, Latin – and everything in between. Miami has more than enough restaurants, ranging from high end to food trucks, to keep me sated. Plus there’s lots of great seafood to be had.
The art. Art Basel Miami Beach will blow your minds away which is located at the Convention Center in South Beach. The Art Basel is full of galleries, furniture stores and sleek cafes, the Wynwood and Design District neighborhoods were particularly enticing.
The water. The water in Miami is in-your-face blue, the kind that makes you want to slip off your clothes and dive right in, Matisse instead of Monet. It’s so enticing and vibrant that your inhibitions go out the window. Love it.
The airlift. You can get a direct flight almost anywhere in the world from Miami. Think about it: The Caribbean is a few hours away, Latin America almost as close. There’s plenty of non-stop flights to Europe. Other than New York, it’s hard to think of another airport as convenient as other places.
