Being in a higher elevation, the snow fall here is regularly for most all the winter season. The county does a good job at maintaining the roads in this rural neighborhood and so getting into town or the ski resorts is not a concern for those who live here. The quiet solitude and seclusion here is surreal. Having even a handful of cars drive past your home, would almost feel like "traffic." Most all the different areas of Park County have their own feel, terrain, weather, and views, and Valley of the Sun is definitely worth taking a look at if you want to have a peaceful mountain home.
