Heroes Protecting our Homes and our Dreams

By
Real Estate Agent with Cactus Mountain Properties, LLC

The state of Arizona mourns the tragic loss of 19 of our most elite fire fighters, the Granite Mountain Hotshots.  These men willingly put their lives on the line to preserve our valuable natural habitats, ranches, businesses and homes.  They make sacrifices of time away from family and friends to secure what we have spent a lifetime to acquire.  They love what they do.  They do what they love.  They would have it no other way.  Every state has their dedicated heroes that quietly serve you and me.  This 4th of July let our hearts and prayers go out to the families of those who have lost a loved one and to those who carry on their legacy by continuing to serve the people of our great nation.

Yarnell Firefighters

Thank you America's finest!  God bless you.

The entire country is mourning the loss of these brave men. They put themselves in harms way to protect us. We also should pause and reflect on the military men and women who serve, past and presence on our Independence Day. Nice Post Barb.

I can't imagine the last few minutes of the Granite Mountain Hotshots lives, it breaks my heart. Prayers for their families and the rest of the firefighters, in that they will put this fire out without more loss or injury.

I got chills reading this and looking at your pictures. I remember when Colorado went through this, too. This was an amazing bunch of people, and it's great that you put this out there as a tribute for them.
