How do I love my Mac? Let me count the ways
I love you because when I capture a screen shot and retrieve it on my desktop, you smartly display it as a thumbnail without any extra clicks on my part.
I love you because if I want to capture a photo or something else on the screen, there is no extra click, so whatever is on the screen stays there for me to capture (unlike some other unnamed computer variety which made it impossible to capture said object, so I jumped over to my Mac).
I love you because when I upload photos, they go instantly into iPhoto with no extra steps and I don't have to open two or three programs just to view my photos.
I love you because when I want to view my photos and click on a folder, just that folder displays and I don't accidently wander back into other parts of my desktop that have nothing to do with the photos in my folder (in other words, I can't just open that folder - everything else comes along with it).
I love you because there aren't a bazillion steps to edit my photos in iPhoto.
I love you because you go down a straight line to accomplish a task, rather than zig-zagging all over the room to come back to square one.
You make my computer life easier, simpler and I thank you for it.
(This post was inspired by my inability to capture a shot of something I wanted to write about here in the Rain, so I went over to my Macbook and instantly grabbed it. It just made me appreciate my Mac all over again :)
