There are many different opinions, and one person's perception as advertising is another's as a show of patriotism.  What reduction in size would you feel would make the Perkins flag patriotic rather than advertising?  If all businesses had Perkins sized flags, would it make a difference?  I don't know, but I'm glad I live in a country where ones individuality is usually tolerated. 

I often wonder if the depiction of the flag in the Star Spangled Banner is an example of disrespect to the flag.  "The bombs bursting in air gave proof through the night that our flag was still there."  Should it not have been taken down at sunset?
