Some birds are just more personable than others. This one gets cool points for its determination.
We are fairly sure that it is a swallow. It had taken this open window as its view for the day and had no intention of moving.
Ralph had stuck up a casual conversation with the bird while I was absent. They were sharing pleasantries in Ralphs fluent bird dialect.
We watched with interest as numerous swiftly flying swallows made their way to the edge of the building while this little guy just sat resting and watching the fun. Although there was no sign of a nest, there had to be one to accommodate the numbers of birds doing fly-bys.
Our young friend provided lots of entertainment until Ralph decided to attempt a closer shot. At that point the swallow decided that the interview was over.
When will be be content to accept what we have? We obviously were not intended to have a close up.
