This being my first Blog ever I hope I don't become too soaked jumping in feet first!!
I believe the year of 2007 will be a very big year for me as this is my opportunity to truly push myself professionally as I never have before! With a strong background in Customer Service Management and pride in doing my job very well, I found myself searching for a much needed change then finding the strength and courage (somewhere) to actually make the move to become a Realtor. Taking the 40 hour class, passing the state exam, having the wonderful good fortune in finding not only a fabulous Broker (Lola Audu) who I look to as not only a mentor but as a friend, it all just seemed to fall into place.
My biggest fear was to become someone who turned around and had let life pass them by awaiting the "perfect timing", for I knew my perfect timing would never come...is there such a thing as perfect timing?? I would still be waiting!
My second biggest fear was, what kind of roll model am I to my college age son who is witness to his mother hanging onto a career that is no longer fulfilling or enjoyable! What message was this sending him? I just knew it was not the one I wanted him to learn from me.
Thank heavens for the supportive husband and children I have for they are not only my rock but also my biggest cheering squad (even if they are boys!) Mom...you can do it! How can we help?
So...I've not only jumped in feet first getting soaking wet but have also just stepped of what seems to be the biggest cliff ever! How excited I am to have this opportunity and now...I find myself looking forward to each and every day.
