As the gap begins to close between us our minds begin to race, well at least mine does. I wonder what am I doing in this situation?! How did I get here and how on earth am I going to be effective in reaching you?
You see, my personality is introverted and by nature I'm not driven to start and maintain conversations. It's not fear or shyness and I'm not conceited or even indifferent. Actually, I want to know more about you and how we can get to know each other better.
There are so many studies, tests and more than enough pigeon-holing people into personality types that there's no need for me to even mention it. So why did I?
Communication is key in establishing and maintaining any relationship.
Recognizing and respecting individual styles increases the chance of positive results. I'm always listening with my ears and eyes as everything you say and do help me understand you better.
I find a smile is a great way to start. It matters not if you are a buyer, seller, Realtor or my neighbor - let's get to know each other better. Perhaps we can help each other some day.
