Sometimes Willie the Labradoodle looks quite jaunty, especially right after a grooming. But then, the next day he will find a mud puddle to roll around in, and he turns into his real self, with muddy paws and burrs in his fur. With some luck, we may have a string of dry days that will make it easier for him to keep his fresh from the doggy spa look.

Hi Pat, Clean or dirty, the heart ( the really important thing) never changes and that would be true of both of you. With that said, I would also try to make Spa day last as long as possible for these little ones. Is that a contradiction? I don't think so, LOL.

Awwww. He looks so cute. We had a golden retriever who jumped into a local pond when it got really got and then she looked like a chocolate lab. Mom wouldn't let her into the house that way...because you know what wet dogs do.

Pat, Isn't Willie the Labradoodle handsome! The one thing I want to say is... he looks like he is smirking, and I can see a mischievous twinkle in his eye. Let's hope he stays clean for at least a day or two. But I doubt it.
OK, actually he has that "I'm lookin for trouble" look. Does he try and blame it all on the cat?
