It has rained at last in Sandy UT

Rain dances, supplications oft, and long suffering patience have paid dividends in Sandy UT.

Some decent rain at last.

Thunder, lightening, swirling breezes, drumming rain. The works...

The trees are happy; the sere grasses are a little revived. Dust has been washed from foliage. Vegetable plants are a little more upward pointing, free at last from the sustained heat stress. Cleaner vehicles, tidier roads and less blowing dust.

We are happy for what we have received; we are respectfully anxious for a little more ~ just to be sure.

We are pleased with the evident moisture and for the comforting drop in temperatures. Pleasant relief.

And as with all bestowed gifts, necessary gratitude will be evident in Sabbath Services and prayers tomorrow.

Larry, even a little bit of rain refreshes us.  We have experience a drought in the last couple of years with the lakes being low and watering restricted.  We have had some much needed rain recently but we need more.

Larry, glad some other parts of the country are getting some moisture! Did you go dancing in the rain? Enjoy your day!

Larry, like you I am happy that your area finally got some rain.  I bet your recent prayers/rain dances/posts have been heard by Mother Nature.

Of course other parts of the country would gladly share some of their rainfall.  Here in Erie we have had six more inches than normal.  I think it has rained evera day for weeks.  Ugh!

Roger - a great relief indeed.

Barbara - that little extra is always good insurance.

Wayne - I'm usually out until it runs off my hat. Actual dancing is a mite restricted.

Mary - We could use your excess (by seepage, perhaps). I have yet to see Sandy UT become soggy.
