FHA Condo Approvals – HUD’s Email List
In working with HUD to get condominium projects approved, I have found it invaluable to be on HUD’s email list.
HUD sends out at least one, and sometimes several, newsletters a week that contain updates, notices for training opportunities, contact information and useful links for those of us who work with HUD/FHA.
The most recent email contained a reminder of the HUD office closings that are to occur during the summer due to spending cuts as well as the following notice:
"TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

If you would like to get on HUD’s email list, simply do one of the following:
1. Follow this link: http://bit.ly/FHARCPage
OR
2. Send a request email to answers@hud.gov.
I recommend signing up on the email list if you work with HUD and like to stay abreast with changes. The only oversight that I have seen with these email updates is that infrequently they fail to notify recipients of recently released Mortgagee Letters. I wouldn’t rely on these emails if you are one who reads all of the Mortgagee Letters as soon as they are released.
