Would you like to see Seniors in the Surprise area perform their talents? If so, Surprise is holding the Senior Idol Contest at Valley Vista High School Performing Arts Center on July 10, 2013. The show time is from 1:00 to 3:00 at Valley Vista High School Performing Arts Center at 15550 Parkview Place Surprise AZ 85374.
Come cheer on the seniors, all over 50 and residents of the northwest valley, as they display their talents and compete for prizes. You will be mesmerized by dancing, singing, karaoke, and instrumental performances. Winners will be voted on by the audience, just like American Idol! Tickets for the event are $6.00 presale or $7.00 at the door. While in the neighborhood, treat yourself to an afternoon out. Visit some of the great restaurants in the area or cool down with an ice cream or yogurt treat. There are several chain restaurants along Bell Road between the 303 and Grand Avenue for you to stop by: Red Robin, Longhorn Steakhouse, Culver’s or Pei Wei. You can venture out to the Surprise Recreation Center for a swim in the pool or a picnic in the park. You can even do some fishing in the lake if that interests you. Take a drive through the beautiful neighborhoods of Surprise. There are many new neighborhoods such as those in the Marley Park and Surprise Farms area or more established neighborhoods such as Copper Canyon Ranch and Rancho Gabriella. Surprise has man amenities for those of all ages. Come check out the area, you will love the small town feel of this city!
