Great question and one that is on many Realtors minds these days: you will be dealing with more Reverse Mortgages in the future as our population ages and the ways you can use a Reverse Mortgage are gaining in popularity.  A Realtor in Beaverton Oregon recently asked me this question and the answer is simple: YES!

 

Even if the home you are listing is upside down because of a Reverse Mortgage your commission is not affected.  Any deficiency in the amount due between the homes value and the mortgage balance is paid for by FHA's Mutual Mortgage Insurance fund.
