Have we reached bottom?
The volume of closed transactions has reached a very low point in Newport County but the Pending Index is still strong. Pendings dropped in mid December and we are seeing the results of fewer contracts written in that time period, however, the Pending number increase nicely in January and so far in February indicating an increase in sales for the next 4 to 6 weeks. We very well have bottomed out.
