It has maintained the feel of old Florida by restricting building codes which allows for a maximum of 35' in heigth. This prevents the "concrete jungles" that have taken over many Florida coastal towns.

You'll enjoy the 1st Friday celebrations at Veteran's Park in the heart of Flagler Beach, right across from the famous pier. Every Friday and Saturday you can pick up fresh produce there from area farmer's, too!
Flagler Beach was a finalist for one of the "Coolest Small Towns" in 2013 by Budget Travel Magazine and was voted as one of the best places to retire by Where To Retire magazine!
