Happy Birthday to Dolores Kelley!

 

Today is my wife’s birthday and she has been kind enough to identify items that are appropriate gifts for her special day. Dolores and I celebrated our 48th wedding anniversary in June and I am very lucky to be married to the best wife in the world.

We spent yesterday at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. This is one of our favorite day trip destinations. We took several hundred photographs of the beautiful flowers. Today, Dolores is having lunch and playing cards with her friends at Montgomery Country Club.  Life is good when you have the right partner.

Happy Birthday, Dolores, and thanks for spending all of these years with me.

Well happy birthday Dolores and many, many more.  Interesting you are holding the Peach Lovers Cookbook.  I have been picking beautiful delicious peaches from my one small tree for days now, and putting them out on my porch in a large bowl for the neighbors to help themselves to.  Nobody has brought me a piece of peach cobbler yet, though.  Hmmm
