Exceptional.
It's a word we toss around a lot around here - because it's what we believe every real estate agent should strive to be.
But what does that mean, exactly? If you are a "Top Producer" does that make you Exceptional? If you've been practicing real estate for five years or more, are you Exceptional?
Not necessarily, although success and experience can certainly be a part of Exceptionalism!
When we talk about Being Exceptional, we're not referring to prowess in prospecting, as you could probably guess. We all know agents who have experienced wild financial success in real estate whom we would never accuse of being "Exceptional!" No, what we mean by Being Exceptional is that the agent provides an outstanding (and refer-worthy!) customer experience. She knows what she's doing and does it well, very well. Her clients trust her because they can tell she has their best interests at heart and is willing and able to Get the Job Done. She has the resources (tools, systems and contacts) o take Exceptional care of her clients and her transactions.
Stuff like that (and more).
Why might Being Exceptional be something to strive for? Oh, let us count the reasons!
1. Exceptional Agents are referred by their Very Satisfied Past Clients - often!
2. Exceptional Agents are proud of their Exceptionalism and confident when talking with potential clients;
3. Exceptional Agents enjoy more frequent visits to the closing table because they know how to make a real estate transaction happen!
In our next SWS Teleseminar show, we'll discuss a specific process to take the wonderfulness you already have to the next level... and Become Exceptional! Join us?
