Shifting sentiment about the Fed policy have continued to be a driving force for Mortgage Backed Security markets this morning.  We are currently down (worse) 31 basis points on the day.

This daily mortgage interest rate report is designed to provide Borrowers & Real Estate Profesionals with factual data regarding where rates are at any given time and what trends are propelling current mortgage pricing on any given day. Market has opened stronger, but with light volume. We might see some profit taking by the end of today.

Market Commentary (Dan Rawitch)

First of all...I forgot to mention the Rollover in my video, thus making today's charts look that much better. Also, the ten year bond is down around 12 basis points from yesterday and getting close to 2.50%. We are moving in the right direction!
PPI should have brought us more sellers. Also, we reacted favorably to the Michigan Sentiment number which as a little worse than expected, but still pretty darn good. This is all good stuff and further supports my forecast of moving through 101 and toward 102.
 
Just be careful...this market is still mean, ugly and volitile!
