Direct Mail Campaigns and Technology: What Provider is the Best?

By
Real Estate Agent with Foxhall Investments

A tried and true marketing method for your business is the consistent use of postcards.  With the advancement of technology, we have seen a lot of time-saving improvements for postcard marketing.

My company is using a service that allows us to pick from selection of 100's of templates and edit the text of the mailer as needed.  We also have the ability to send mailers to any neighborhood without having to generate our own lists of local addresses and resident names.  All the agent has to do is pick a location, pick the number of people we want the mailer sent to, and pick the marketing piece he or she wants to send.

If the agent has a pre-existing list of contacts they have the ability to send postcards to that list as well.

The drawback to the system we currently have is that it can not pull from our Outlook database directly.  This means that everytime we want to send a mailer to a sphere list that exists within our outlook address book, we are forced to export that list from Outlook, and then import it into the mailer program.

It would be nice to have a provider that was able to synch with our Outlook.  I wonder if there are any other options out there that can do this?

The name of our provider is QuantumDigital.  They are a large company and provide a good service, but I would love to hear what other providers exist so I have something to compare against.  What are some other popular providers of postcard delivery systems?

Thanks,

John

I use Expresscopy.com.  You just convert your Outlook contacts into an Excel file for the addressing.  I've been very happy with them.
