What Stuff Is There for Teens to Do in Murrieta CA - video
I posed this question to our teens because they are home for summer, and I wanted to preempt the soon to come: "I'm bored!" and redirect their thoughts, as much as see what quirky things they might come up with. The video is below, with a surprise life lesson in this little gem of a video.
What the teens recommended as stuff to do in Murrieta:
- Movies: Murrieta has Reading Theater on Cal Oaks, and close proximity to Temecula's Edwards Theater in the Promenade Mall and super discount theater at Temeku Cinemas.
- Parks: there are many lovely parks in Murrieta. The one where Dominic rolls down the hill is a dog park at the corner of Jackson and Nutmeg.
- Bowling.
- Driving around listing to music (Beyonce')
- Thrifting: several thrifts stores are here, from St Martha's off Los Alamos near In n Out, to Savers on Madison and the Salvation Army off Jefferson.
- Hiking: the trail they video is up Vineyard to the west; there are also trails

Message: it's not what you're doing, it's about doing things with friends. The two in the video are friends who spent six hours together laughing, shooting video, editing, joking around and stumbling across a life lesson: it's not so much about what stuff you're doing, it's about doing stuff with friends that makes things fun to do in Murrieta or anywhere you move, whether it's near a military base like Camp Pendleton, Miramar, or another city, state or country.
