The New York Rugby Club is the oldest rugby club in the United States with almost 100 men and women as active players in the NY metro area. They provide a much needed outlet for our youth (high school and college ages included) exploring their potential as athletes and diverting them to positive activity.
The NYRC High School Boys competed in the NY State Championships over the weekend of May 25-26, 2013 in Henrietta, NY. My company, Rapid Realty, and I were proud to support them in achieving their success by making a generous financial contribution towards the team’s fundraising goals. Along with other corporate sponsors, we helped make it possible for 23 players to participate in the May rugby championship tournament.

I enjoy helping organizations like NYRC, it gives me an opportunity to give back not just financially but through leadership. I speak with them about taking what they learned on the field and mirroring that in their everyday lives. I want them to know that the fundamentals to goal achievement are literally being playing out on the field.
Helping out locally and with our youth is one of the ways in which I can help others make connections to better their lives. I am a New Yorker and I take pride in giving back to my city.
