Cinco Ranch Branch Library offers Excel Class

Cinco Ranch Branch Library which is part of the Fort Bend County library system is offering Fort Bend County residents a free Excel class on Thursday July 18, 2013. The class starts at 10 AM and will last until 11 AM.

This class is titled Excel Survival basics and I am sure folks who attend will improve their Excel software skills in the one hour class. I use Excel Almost on a daily basis. I am pretty at Excel but I can tell you all of us can learn something from even going to a basic class. My problem is I have several different versions of Excel that I could use on any given day. Every new version Microsoft releases it appears important functionality is located in a new spot in the tree myriad of numerous drop down boxes.

The Library is located at 2620 Commercial Center Blvd Katy Texas 77494 with phone being 281-395-1311. The Cinco Ranch Branch advises advance registration is recommended as there is limit space available at every computer course they offer.

Thank you all for your comments. Excel along with all the Windows Office program as Curtis said above require practice and time or else you forget how to use the software. These programs are no loner user friendly in my opinion. I have not used Powerpoint in several years and I tried to fool with it recently and it was horrible.
