Chandler Arizona Golf Properties 
A mere 90 years ago, the popular resort area of Chandler, Arizona, was just a dusty train stop in the Arizona Territory. It’s difficult to imagine Chandler Arizona without its golf properties. Thankfully, a veterinary surgeon by the name of Dr. Alexander John Chandler had a dream, so he acquired some land and went after this dream .
By 1913, he had established a town center in Chandler, that he named after himself. The main attraction in Chandler AZ, was the luxurious Plaza San Marcos and its neighboring golf resort. This was the beginning of demand for golf properties in Chandler AZ. The pairing Golf property and a resort was actually the very first in the state (a great idea, that became a popular feature of resorts ).
The innovative doctor Chandler, also had a ranch, but it was not horses or cows. It was Ostrich! The demand for Ostrich plumes was high, they were the new fad in ladies' hats and boas and still are today. Today, we celebrate with the city’s exciting, annual Ostrich Festival. The annual festival features musical entertainment, exhibits, fun displays, a parade, an Ostrich Coop, and, the ever popular ostrich race event. Chandler has much to offer all and is a great place to start and end our search for Golf Properties.
