What does baseball, chicken wings, hot dogs and a concert or two and the love of the great outdoors have in common?
Everything if you live in Abacoa this weekend! It's Swings and Wings night Saturday night at Roger Dean Stadium and the Hot Dog Fest and two FREE concerts at the Abacoa Town Center on Sunday from noon - 5pm.
Saturday first: If you are a Yankees fan, come on out this Saturday night to see the Tampa Yankees take on the hometown Jupiter Hammerheads and experience something incredible while you are there. Roger Dean Stadium is holding its "Swings & Wings" night, Saturday July 20th -- gates open at 5:30pm -- where you can partake in a wing eating contest and vote on the best wings served in America.
Tip: Save a little room in your stomach though because the Abacoa Town Center is hosting the Hot Dog Fest, complete with a hot dog eating contest on Sunday from noon to 5pm. It promises to be a fun-filled afternoon in celebration of the ultimate summer comfort food, the hot dog. Enjoy all of your favorites from ballparks to German sausage. Free entertainment on the Amphitheater stage starts at 1pm featuring Bobby Gugliuzza of We Humans and at 3:30pm Tribute To Journey Odyssey Road. The Hot Dog Fest at Abacoa Town Center on Sunday July 21st from noon to 5pm.
