Please contact Laura if you need any advice.What is Feng Shui ?The Ancient Art of Feng Shui, literally translated to mean “Wind & Water” has been practiced in various forms throughout the world and is estimated to be between 3,000 to 6,000 years old.Feng Shui seeks to achieve balance, harmony, peace and prosperity through mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual transformations in your life through simple but effective changes in your surroundings. Everyone will benefit from a Feng Shui consultation, for this is a wholisitc practice that is profound and respected around the world.Feng Shui teaches you how to create an environment that supports your dreams and aspirations by changing the Flow of Energy into a positive one.Do you have any tips for home owners to be able to sell their home using Feng Shui principles?1.De personalize and de clutter the entire house, especially the kitchen, closets and garage. You are letting go of your energy that occupied that space to allow in new energy, a new home owner.2.Unblock stairways and hallways to allow a beneficial energy flow to circulate in all the rooms.Consider the use of crystal if needed for sluggish areas or long corridors where the energy may be moving too fast.Crystals also offer open and clear communication between all those who are involved in the buying and selling process.3.Add splashes of color to your home to help enliven the energy and create a more welcoming presentation.As an artist with a painting, use color to help bring attention all around your home as potential buyer explore the house. You can achieve this with flowers (real or silk), artwork (that is neutral in subject matter), and/or with accented furnishings with touches of color.4.Make the outside entrance inviting, starting with the landscape.Remove garbage pails, old wood, and building materials and any other clutter.5.Keep hedges, trees and plants trimmed well and away from windows. Buyers are unlikely to be attracted to a home they can’t see!6.Make sure there is a clear pathway leading to the entrance.Do you have any tips for real estate agents?Learning about Feng Shui will be nothing but beneficial to Real Estate agents on a personal and professional level.There is a huge shift in the demographics, mainly from Asia and India who are influencing the market currently. Many who are shifting from those regions see Feng Shui not a luxury but as a way of life.Feng Shui is becoming a necessity in the real estate profession.My best tip for Real estate agents is to take the time to learn and understand the unique language of Feng Shui and energy. By doing so, you can increase your sales, your knowledge, credibility, and your own well-being at the same time.Be sure to approach Feng Shui with integrity and if you are not familiar, team up with a certified Feng Shui consultant to assist in the process.Please write about one or two incidents where following your advice helped your clients.I had one client who was from India and she wanted to desperately sell her home because for two years it was not budging and was eating up her financial funds.I reviewed her history of what has been happening and really she was lacking the area of “helpful people” according to the Ba-gua method of Feng Shui. I informed her we need to approach your sale from a deeper understanding, the core of Feng Shui which is visualization and manifestation.I guided her to carefully think about the type of positive people she needed to help in the sale process and then write down those characteristics/qualities. I also encouraged her to carefully take note of any negative emotions that she may have toward the sale process of this house (meaning frustrations, regrets… etc). I also suggested that she take an image of her house back in India and put it on her fridge with a mini sign that said “sold”on it, which she did and attached that to the photo.The intention of her writing down the type of positive helpful people she needed, refocused and directed her energy to attract the right types of people with the sale process.By taking note of her emotions and shifting those to be more positive also opened up the energy channels of positive transformation.By her placing the image of her house in India with a sold sign on it, was saying it has already happened.I also walked her through a blessing ceremony of her India based home from a distance.The key ingredient with all that I have mentioned is that you have to believe in the process and she did.As she made the changes step by step she gradually noticed a shift.Helpful people began to step into her life, such as with her brother.He helped to clean up the house and those who were occupying the home who refused to move finally left. In due time her home in India was sold! Understand this did not happen overnight.Her situation was very unique, as with everyone, and depending on your energy and focus, will depend on how fast the process of transformation manifests into reality.Please feel free to add anything else including your charges and whether you have telephone consultationsyes I do offer Phone consultations, they are for those outside of the 5 boroughs, which include national and international distance consultations.It’s $300.00 for a full distance consultation with a client who owns a single level home, apartment or offices space because I do not have to include travel time/gas and are just focusing on that level of the entire home. For a distance consultation such as that, it’s 100 per hour (it takes 3 one hour phone sessions to complete) which covers reviewing and discussing the history of the home and them, sharing feng Shui teachings blended with remedies and suggestions as needed, sharing insights into their life’s happenings and writing the summary which is a step by step guide in making the changes.If they have a large house that is of multiple levels and they wish me to assess all levels and the land as well, naturally that will take more time to review the photos/floor plan/landscape so the fee will vary if that is the situation to accommodate the time preparing the summary for them.If you wish to contact Laura for Feng Shui consultation here is contact information :(516) 454-8107Alt.
